Vajo dei Masi 1997

Tenuta Argentiera, Ventaglio 2016

Tenuta Argentiera is an Italian wine producer in Bolgheri on the southern coast of Tuscany, whose name is derived from the silver mines (‘argento’) that were once scattered across the landscape here. The flagship Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc. Tenuta San Guido, Sassicaia 2020

Tenuta San Guido is better known by the name of its most famous wine - Sassicaia. The winery is based in Tuscany and has its own DOC designation (Bolgheri Sassicaia) for its signature label. Sassicaia, one of the original super-Tuscan wines, is made from Cabernet Sauvignon with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc. Sassicaia (‘stony field’ in English) was created in the 1940s by the Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta (a cousin of the Antinoris) as an experiment wine and produces two other wines from declassified Sassicaia fruit called Guidalberto and Le Difese.

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a highly regarded wine estate in the Pauillac appellation and one of the most important second growths in Pauillac. Château Mouton Rothschild 2015

Chateau Mouton Rothschild has a very long history and is today one of the most renowned and sought-after Chateaux in France. However, it was classed as a second growth in the 1855 classification. After much effort, it was upgraded to first growth in 1973, which has never happened before in the history of the left bank. Another special feature is that the chateau changes its label every year, which is always designed by a different well-known artist.

Chateau Montrose 2014

Chateau Montrose is located in St.Estephe and was classified as a second growth in 1855 and is one of the best at this level. Some vintages, such as 2009 and 1989, even have a first growth level. As usual on the left bank, Montrose has also planted grape varieties as a majority Cabernet Sauvignon but also Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The chateau makes a total of three wines.

Château Haut-Brion 2016

Château Haut-Brion is the oldest of the five Bordeaux first growths and is located in Pessac-Léognan. The vineyard is planted with red varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot as well as white varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The red Cuvee contains more Merlot than other wines from the Left Bank, which makes it rounder and softer. There is also a white wine, which is generally even more expensive than the red wine and is one of the best white Bordeaux.
